NEW FEATURES
* New * DataFerrett now includes the
name of the topic for the variables included in the Codebook when the
Codebook is generated for use with an extraction
Fixes as of November 29, 2011
SAS extracts were modified to replace "null" values with a period, which SAS will interpret as a "missing" value on input.
For the ACS 5-year Summary File data, SAS extractions were modified to include a label for the GEOID variable.
DataFerrett now displays an appropriate error message if a user attempts to create a thematic map for a non-mappable geography.
Although the occurence of a non-mappable geography is rare, when a user did attempt to create such a map, the previous error message did not indicate that the error issue was the result of attempting to map a non-mappable geography.
Fixes as of November 14, 2011
American Community Survey 5-year Summary File (ACS 5-year SF) extractions are now sorted by geography
Mapping now works correctly when the table has variance information
Previously, maps did not work correctly when variances were displayed but worked when the
variances were hidden
If variances are available, please be advised that they are not mappable at this time.
Auto totals turned OFF by default for aggregate data
The user will still be able to turn on the Auto totalling, but the default for aggregate datasets will be OFF.
Variances for summed totals now work
The calculations for summed estimate variables now work.
DataFerrett has interleaved ACS 5-year SF MOE variables with estimate variables
DataFerrett needed to interleave ACS 5-year Summary File margin of error (MOE> variables with estimate variables, during extractions/tabulations. Previously, the MOE variables were displayed in variable list, but should have been part of the output, similarly to how data flags work.
Variances for summed totals now work
The calculations for summed estimates variances now work.
Fixed issue which prevented multiple arithmetic operations of the same precedence from being done in the definition for the Multi Variable Recode
Previously, the multi-variable recode of aggregate data did not work if you added (summed) more than two variables. Two variables added (summed) worked fine, but then three or more were summed, the user would receive an error message when trying to tabulate.
Fixed an issue where formulas created at the end of the table overwrote the last non-formula column.
When the user would place a series of variables in the columns and then try to create
a formula (sum) in the next available column, the last column (immediately to the left of
the formula column) would not compute properly.
The problem duplicated the formula column placed in the last column into the date column
that came before it.
Fixed but preventing PDF generation from working correctly when variances are displayed
When the user would attempt to create a PDF, an error message would pop up and/or the PDF would be reported corrupt and would not open.
