Browser?
DataFerrett interface gives you access to the data on TheDataWeb via your internet browser with a java applet.
You can browse through the various datasets, surveys or data collections published within TheDataWeb.
TheDataWeb Browser
DataFerrett WebVersion uses a JAVA run-time environment (Applet) with your FireFox, Internet Explorer. When you launch the DataFerrett from the browser, the access page will show the loading bar and should remain open at all times. The DataFerrett will use the JAVA Applet and will also require an additional file for saving, cutting and pasting called the RunSecurityPolicy. RUN the security policy to tell the Windows environment that dataferrett.census.gov will use the windows clipboard for basic functions.
